Description
Photograph caption dated August 14, 1954 reads, "A mother hummingbird and her two chicks set up housekeeping in a new home, half of a walnut shell attached to limb of tree in yard of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Teegarden, North Hollywood. Tiny nest has all comforts, being shaded by big walnut leaf. Teegarden almost destroyed mother hummingbird's nest while trimming tree."
