Photograph caption dated June 25, 1960 reads, "Girl swimmers battle - A total of 109 feminine swimmers and divers are competing in the second annual Los Angeles Invitational swimming and diving championships now under way at Exposition Park's famous Olympic pool. Among the comely competitors, from left, are Patty Kempner, Marianne Hargreaves and Judy Lochridge who began paddling to prominence in Valley age-group swimming."
