This pigment print was made in 2011. It is signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. Hollywood Cemetery (5970-6000 W. Santa Monica Boulevard) was founded in 1899. In 1998, the cemetery changed hands and the name was changed to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.; The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. A mausoleum at Hollywood Memorial Cemetery, later Hollywood Forever Cemetery. A few of the hanging vases contain flowers. Photograph dated August, 1991.
