This photo of the Town House was taken facing northwest from Hoover and Sunset Place. Also known as Sheraton Town House and Sheraton West, it was built in 1928 by architect Norman P. Alpaugh. It consists of 13 floors and boasts of a mini-balcony on every floor, and in each room. It is a City of L.A. Historic Monument, including the roof neon signs that read "Sheraton" and "Sheraton Town House", and was added to the National Register of Historical Places in 1997, Building #96000821. Two separate addresses are listed for this building: 2959-2973 Wilshire Blvd. and 607-643 S. Commonwealth Ave. Photograph dated: November 14, 2005.
