Description
Photograph of two rockets on a base, ca.1960. To the left, a large cylindrical rocket can be seen standing erect upon a platform. The tip of the rocket is darkly-colored and in the shape of a cone. Metal structures and ladders surround one side of the rocket. To the right, another similar rocket can be seen among metal platforms and ladders. At center, symmetric pairs of bars are seen with small lights hanging below their archways. Below these arches, a large staircase is visible which leads to another floor below the missiles. On the base's exterior, long metal spikes are visible along its side.
