Description
Fourth Sunday after Easter (concl.). Communion "Dum venerit" (concl.). Rubrics state "Fifth Sunday after the Passion". Introit "Vocem jucunditatis". Historiated initial "U" with miniature scene of Christ preaching to his disciples in an open field, a scroll proceeds from his mouth reading "Petite et accipietis" ["ask and you will receive", John 16:24, from the gospel for the day, John 16:23-30]. Illuminated border of brushed gold with flowers, berries, insects, and an owl.
