Description
Hand-drawn map of the State of California. Limited edition signed copy. Includes "Almost Forgotten" Chronology (1521-1869), "Cortes had conquered Mexico (1521) and Spain had established outposts on the west coast of Mexico. What unknown riches lay to the North? .... With regret, limited space and familiarity of the reader with ensuing progress prevents further prolonged chronology. Let nothing dull our admiration and support for today's preservation of Old California's foundation."
