Photograph caption dated October 10, 1958 reads, "Drying yard - Apricots and peaches were dried in yard of Prince Ranch on present site of North Hollywood Park near Magnolia boulevard bridge. Dryer, cutting shed and sulphur houses were used in process when six acres of fruit were spread to dry. Photograph taken in 1908 is from Fred Weddington collection. Park will be scene of pioneer picnic from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday when early settlers will gather." See image 00156143 for additional photo in this series.
