Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated March 2, 1949 reads, "Here he points out special features of his all metal cages which he designed himself." The article partially reads, "Because she would rather clip than kill rabbits, Mrs. A. E. White of 10387 Sharp Ave., Pacoima, selected Angora ones for a hobby. Today she boasts a herd of more than 300 Angoras. After clipping the wool from her pets, she has it carded, and with spools, cones and spinning equipment built by her husband, a retired mechanical engineer, she spins the wool into yarn...Her husband not to be outdone has a herd of more than 200 meat rabbits."; See images #00117560 through #00117562 for all photos in this series.
