Photograph of the remains of a group of squatter's huts in San Pedro, 1936. In the picture, many of the crude wooden huts have fallen into the calm water. At center, there are only broken boards to show that there were any huts there at all. The buildings in the background are still standing, and several utility poles are visible in the distance. The huts were destroyed when the pier was torn down.
