Description
A group poses for a photo outside the entrance to the Lancaster Library (Fig Avenue location) with a dedication plaque that had just been removed nearby. The Library was relocated that year to a new location on Kingtree Avenue and Avenue J. The plaque reads: ""Antelope Valley Regional Library Built by Los Angeles County on Site Donated by Public Subscription Under the Leadership of the Lancaster Women's Club Plaque Placed by the Club, October 8 1950."" On back of photo (people in the photo are listed from left to right): ""#27198, 1964, Mabel Weaver, Paul Scott, Reg. Librarian, Anna Davis, Joseph M. Pollard, Lancaster Library"".
