Shows bank of levee along Yolo County side of river, boats in background, line drawn on image in foreground. McCurry no. 5177 -- view 2 (2010-1848). Shows sandy levee, retaining wall of steel and wooden plank construction borders levee. McCurry no. 5086. Also have negative: no. 26,894 (view 1, 4x5 in.) West Sacramento Company incorporated in 1910 for purpose of developing land west of Sacramento River. Between 1910 and 1913 completed reclamation project that included construction of levees, irrigation system, roads. In 1911 organized area as Reclamation District 900.
