N. E. view of the Blas Aguilar-Tejada adobe along Oriental Street in Capistrano Village, 1936. Door is visible as well as the tile roof. "The smaller tile roof part was said to have been built in 1794 and used as a dwelling by the mayordomos of the Capistrano Mission." Don Blas Aguilar purchased it in 1841 and is was known as the "Casa Tejada" because of the tile roof. "Don Blas was the last Alcalde of Capistrano"
