Description
Photograph of the exterior mural on the retaining wall, southwest corner at 3rd Street and 5th Avenue, 282" wide x 120" high. The mural "Field Artillery Country" depicts a collection of emblems. Emblems left to right: 7th Infantry Division Artillery. At the bottom of the emblem is the motto Ad Altiora Tendo, or "I strive to higher things." Emblem second from left: 8th Field Artillery Regiment. At the bottom of the emblem is the unit motto, Audacieux et Tenace, or "Daring and Tenacious." Emblem third from the left: 15th Field Artillery Regiment. Large middle emblem: Crossed Cannons is the army insignia for field artillery.
