Description
This photograph of unidentified adult and young picnickers enjoying their food and drink was taken by Nisaburo Aibara of Turlock, California, circa 1927. The cars are parked next to either the Merced or Tuolumne River where annual picnics were typically held. The Turlock Social Club was an organization created to facilitate social activities of the Japanese Americans.
