From the Charles Henry Geer photo album series that depicts a promotion held to sell land in Turlock, California, circa 1907. Primarily men were the prospective buyers who traveled by train to look at the land being sold and to listen to those who promoted the benefits of living near Turlock. This photograph shows a large group of men gathered around the train station and also a few children in the foreground.
