Tri-fold brochure with drawing of man smoking a pipe looking out towards the ocean on front cover. Describes progress made during 1924 and plans for 1925 on the first development area for sale in the planned residential community on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Palos Verdes Estates. Includes text outlining road construction, water mains, electrical trunks lines, road surfacing, nursery, tree plantings, La Venta Inn construction, golf course, dwellings and office building in Malaga Cove Plaza. Includes black and white photographs of the golf course, the La Venta Inn and the "Douglas Cut" blast which created the new road. The center fold includes a conceptual drawing of the near-completed Malaga Cove Plaza. Address and contact information on center fold. Back of brochure includes following statement: "In view of the E. G. Lewis Bankruptcy proceedings and in fairness to all those who are in any way interested, financially or otherwise, in the development of Palos Verdes, we wish to state that all connections, interests and associations between Mr. Lewis and the Palos Verdes Estate were severed February 23, 1923. Ownership of Palos Verdes is vested solely in its 4000 underwriters and is free and clear of all encumbrances whatsoever, and can in no way be affected by Mr. Lewis' affairs."
