Title

Description
Broadside issued by the governor of Zacatecas disagreeing with a recent plan promulgated in Guanajuato on Dec. 7, 1855 which called for a revolt against the then current faction in power under Juan Álvarez. This sheet is an expression of protest against Santa Anna, as it states that the "ilustres caudillos" who heroically caused the cowardly escape of the "tirano de Méjico" could never stoop to the latter's use of "oppression and tiranny."
