FI (Fill) -- Fill under lowest surface/ S prb. -- Compact reddish-brown sediment below foundations of southern wall of the gate structure. -- The layer is clearly below the lowest course of the southern wall of the gate structure (W7). Options: foundation bed (intentional fill), virgin soil. Seems identical Research Data Curation Program, UC San Diego, La Jolla, 92093-0175 (https://lib.ucsd.edu/rdcp) None. S-area limit, N-section below W7, E-section under L10, W-section under L51. Locus above: 51 -- Locus contemporary: 67 Covered by a hard surface, either a floor that predates the gate structure or a technical upper foundation fill. -- Few fragnments of bone found above may belong to the upper layer (L51) or be related to rodents. No other finds at all clearly related to human activity. -- to a layer found directly over bedrock at the eastern probe (L67). Area stratum IVb
