Description
Tan Dun is a Chinese contemporary classical composer based in NYC. He is best know for his music scores for films Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero and has won numerous awards his operas and an Academy Award for his music scores. I took this photo while I was sitting next to him at a large dinner in NYC when Wu Wenguang, documentary film director, and his partner Wen Hui, dancer, were performing a co- production of The Living Dance Studio.
