Description
WA (Wall) -- NW wall of the gateway complex -- Wall:- NW GW -- L:4.45, W:1.70, H:2.70, 16 courses. Wall composed of two built faces and haphazard fill of stones and sediment. Faces built of shale of varying sizes, some -- Original stage of utilization of the gate complex, defensive oriented structure, later to serve local small scale copper production activities. Locus contemporary: W7, 8, 38, 33, 47, 32, 45, 46 Wall left as exposed, therefore no access to possible sealed finds from within or below. Wall partly collapsed in final destruction event of the gate complex. -- roughly cut. Possible solidifying clay matter between the stones. No foundation trench, probable pre-construction excavation and sedimenrt bed laying instead. Area stratum III
