Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations likely by Sir Joseph Copley (born Joseph Moyle) in a 1677 copy of Antiquities of the city of Exeter. Annotations consist of textual notes and additions to the text written in a (or several) roughly contemporary hands. In addition to the textual annotations written in ink throughout the volume, there are pencil markings likely in a later hand in the margins throughout; It is also possible that there is more than one annotator responsible for the ink annotations in this volume.
