Scope/Content: Printed proof with manuscript annotations and corrections.
Scope/Content: Bound in volume with autograph signed letter from Hume to Gilbert Stuart, dated 23 December 1773.
Scope/Content: Printed proof sheets of David Hume's 1773 review of Robert Henry's History of Great Britain for the Edinburgh Magazine and Review, with Hume's manuscript edits and corrections. Bound with a letter from Hume to publisher Gilbert Stuart, this review was ultimately rejected and a scathing review by Stuart published in its place.
Condition: Bound in brown morocco with gold stamping.
