Text from newspaper caption: Re-enacts Death Scene- Cyrus A. Kirkpatrick is shown seated in chair from which he killed two real estate salesmen he suspected of plot to poison him and get his ranch. Kirkpatrick went through all the actions leading up to the tragedy in the presence of officers, for whom he was waiting after donning his best clothes following bloody deed. The body of Benjamin Friedman is in the foreground with that of G.E. Roach beside him. Roach was shot first. (Photos by George R. Watson, Times Staff Photographer)
