Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Wilhelmina Lemberger West was H. H. West's mother. Mary West (Mary Adelbert Teel West Shepard) was H. H. West's wife, and Elizabeth and Frances were their daughters. H. H. Cooper reclines while Elizabeth and Frances West, Wilhelmina West, and Mary West sit around a picnic blanket. Cooper holds a cigar and wears a hat. He has a white tie around his neck. Elizabeth's head is visible just behind Cooper's shoulder. She leans her head against Frances. Wilhelmina West wears glasses. Mary West wears hat and has her hands on her lap. A box, a cup, and what may be a canteen are on the picnic blanket. There are trees and bushes in the background. Text from negative sleeve: 555.
