Carl Austin sits on a porch with his mother and daughters. Austin wears a hat and a bow tie. One of his daughters is barefoot and sits between his legs. The other sits next to him and has a hand to her mouth. His mother wears a white dress and glasses. Text from negative sleeve: 798. East. Red Oak, Iowa. 1900. Mrs J. B. [sic] Austin, Carl Austin and his two little children on the steps of the old Ausin home.
