Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of H. H. Cooper riding in a horse-drawn carriage and passing San Gabriel Mission. A dirt road spans the width of the foreground and stretches back on an angle from the lower left and up to the right. H. H. Cooper sits in a carriage in the middle of the road in the near distance, left-of-center. The carriage is pulled by a horse and faces towards the camera. The horse stands in front of the carriage and turns its head to the right. H. H. Cooper sits in the carriage and looks to the camera. Behind him, the south wall of San Gabriel Mission stretches alongside the road. The campanile and bells stand behind him and from there the building extends back towards the right.
