Mrs. West sits on the steps, while Elizabeth stands and Frances sits in a stroller. The house is two stories and has a front porch. There is chimney and a carved structure on the roof. The neighboring houses are visible on either side of the image with plants around them. There is a power wire crossing the image. A white object is on the lawn at the left.
