Photograph of military facilities sitting at the base of a snowy mountainside on Attu Island. Snow-covered ground stretches across the foreground and throughout the landscape. A small hut stands in the distance at left. Someone stands in front of it. Another person stands in the snow, to the right of the hut. Beyond them, a Quonset hut stands at center. Another Quonset hut appears to stand further up the mountainside, left-of-center. The snow-covered mountainside rises up from left to right, extending out-of-frame.
