An out-of-focus photograph of 3 dogs playing with a mule at Death Valley National Monument. A concrete or adobe wall enters frame from the left edge in the foreground and stretches towards center. Beside it and along the bottom edge at right, a dirt and gravel drive slopes upwards towards center. At the top of the drive, a mule and 3 dogs stand in the near distance. The mule stands in profile, facing left. Two of the dogs stand by the mule, one in front of the mule and one behind the mule. The third dog sits off to the left. Mountains rise across the background.
