Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white. Photograph of Black Butte, as viewed at a distance from the Mount Shasta railroad station. Three sets of railroad tracks enter frame along the bottom and lower right edges. They run parallel to one another as they stretch back into the distance at center. Utility poles and lines line the tracks. In the near distance at right, a building stands to the side of the tracks. A tree-covered hill rises beyond it and the tracks, right-of-center. In the far distance at center, Black Butte rises, partially obscured by the hillside.
