According to the negative sleeve, this photograph was taken on June 28, 1947 while the Wests were en route between Jasper and Lake Louise. This actually appears to be a photograph of a visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, which the Wests visited on June 25, 1947 per negative sleeve 2294. A road stretches through the foreground on an upward angle from left to right. Beyond the road, a bus is parked parallel to it. The bus is viewed at an angle from the side, facing right. Along the side of the bus, it reads, "GRAY LINE SIGHTSE[EIN]G TOU[RS]." A few passengers walk alongside the bus and towards the right. One woman boards the bus at far right. The bus driver stands beside the open passenger door. Beyond the front of the bus and lining the side of the road, a billboard stands. It reads, "'STOP' E[N]T[R]ANCE TO WORLD FAMOUS SWINGING BRIDGE [CAPI]LANO CANYON."
