Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white. Photograph of H. H. West stand along a driveway's curb outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. H. H. West stands in the near distance at center. He stands in profile, facing right, at the edge of a sidewalk. Behind or to the left of him, the front steps of the Met extend up to the left. Entering from the left edge and stretching back, the Fifth Avenue-facing facade of the Met stands. The sidewalk H. H. stands upon enters frame from the bottom edge and stretches back towards the left. To the right of it, a driveway passes in front of H. H. Cars and pedestrians are visible in the driveway. In the distance at right, Fifth Avenue enters frame from the right, running parallel to the museum as it extends into the distance at center. Tall buildings line the far side of Fifth Avenue.
