Beacon Street spans the width of the bottom edge and stretches back towards center. The camera looks west down Beacon Street. In the foreground, several people stand in the middle of the street with their backs to the camera. Cars park along both sides of the street, just past the near group of people. Boston Common lines the left side of Beacon Street and stretches into the distance. Crowds of people walk towards camera along the sidewalk adjacent to the Common. Buildings rise along the right side of the street and stretch back into the distance. Crowds are visible farther down Beacon Street in the background.
