Description
A group of excited citizens gather in July 1914 for a peek at the opening of the Golden West Motor Company, located on a severn-acre site, just one block west of the intersection of Seventh Avenue and Riverside Boulevard. Golden West specialized in the production of four wheel drive trucks, which were designed under the patents of Edward Robinson and H.T. Kuhlman. Robinson would go on to patent a post-Golden West truck called "The Big Four."
