Description
An early view of motorized traffic on the California Incline, looking south with the Municipal Pier in the background. The date of the actual image is probably much earlier than the production date and postmark of the postcard. Compare with postcard match00587, which uses the same source image but demonstrates different coloring. On reverse: Dear Cousin, The animal at Mithers(?) she was real glad to see me. Guess we will leave for Calif. Sunday. Read your letter to-day write to Mathew Long F?. Miss Leanne(?) Sucher, ? Ill. Postmark: Aug 2, 1923.
