Description
The Hotel Vendome is on the left. The main entrance to the hotel is shaded by a striped awning. On the right are trees and in the foreground flowers are in bloom. The hotel was built in 1889 on the 11-acre estate of Josiah Belden, an early mayor of San Jose. At the time it was the most luxurious hotel in San Jose.
