Jean Lipman-Blumen discusses her book, “The Connective Edge: Leading in an Interdependent World.” Lipman-Blumen talks about building collaborative relationships that are of mutual benefit. She discusses how leadership can contribute to an individual’s growth and the satisfaction people can feel from various leadership roles. She also talks about connective leaders and the need for active constituents, denatured Machiavellianism, authenticity, and self-interest.
