Photograph caption dated September 3, 1964 reads "Flying high. Girls line up for the fast run to the trampoline, the quick bounce up and high, and the jump and run back to the starting point." Valley area high school cheerleaders are attending a week-long cheerleading course in Thousand Oaks taught by Bill Horan, a former paratrooper, World War II and Korean War veteran, and founder of the American Cheerleaders Association.; See images #00142056 through #00142060 for all photos in this series.
