Description
Vice squadders raided an alleged bingo parlor in Redondo Beach. Photo shows Capt. George Contreras of the Sheriff's Vice Squad and Redondo's Police Chief, Harry Peterson with one of the winners and one of the operators at the alleged bingo parlor. Woman's winnings were confiscated as evidence, to be returned to winner later. Patrons were allowed to go home, but operators were booked. Photo dated: September 10, 1940.
