Description
Margaret Whiting discusses her autobiography, “It Might As Well Be Spring.” She begins by talking about her early family life, her father’s career as a famous songwriter, and how she knew many Hollywood stars in the 1940s. She describes individual Hollywood romances she had, and cites several people as her biggest mentors. She talks about moving to New York City to do musicals after rock and roll music took over. Whiting talks about a touring act she did with three other singers. She ends the interview by saying that the most important thing to do while writing an autobiography is be honest with the readers.
