In the background at center, a lone Navajo Indian can be seen wearing a lightly-colored, long-sleeved shirt and dark pants. The man is turned away from the camera and stares off into the distance. In the foreground, clusters of small scrub brush can be seen extending into the extreme background. The San Francisco Mountains are in the extreme background at left. Large groups of clouds decorate the sky overhead.
