The Matador Booster Club was formed to support San Fernando Valley State College. San Fernando Valley State College is now California State University, Northridge.
Photograph caption dated August 6, 1963 reads "Mrs. Jimmie Wyness, Northridge, left, and Mrs. Celia Oliver of North Hollywood admire swimming suit." The article partially reads "At the Northridge home of the John Warrens, wives of members of the Matador Booster Club gave a Champagne swim party for the purpose of introducing prospective members of the club."; See images #00119853 through #00119859 for all photos in this series.
