Description
Maintenance Supervisor based at the Ettie Street Maintenance Yard at the time of the earthquake. In this interview Michael reflects on his personal experience with the earthquake and his department's response to the destruction caused by the earthquake. Maintenance had to assist the rescue operations at the Cypress structure as well as close highway routes, repair damaged highway surfaces and shoulders, and bridges.
