Description
Photograph of the Painted Desert in Arizona from the south, [s.d.]. Weeds spot the course ground in the foreground while discolorations characterize the sand at center. The dunes appear to be smoothed. They continue into the background where an incline leads to a level field. Picture file card reads: "The coloring changes after the rains, which wash out new strata of soil".
