Sure, in a real tropical setting, where clerk Ardis Gerard puts orchid leis, just in from Hawaii by air, on Ruth Elder, daring and renowned aviatrix who flew the Atlantic -- almost -- in 1927 going down in the water just short of goal. (There's also barbershop, back branch, at airport, plus gift shops, newsstands, etc.) Supplementary material continues: "Lapp Negs... 3/4: Hunger is a big item with travelers, keeping a battery of cooks busy behind the scenes at Flight Deck restaurant. Here Maitre d' Tommy Maruca, foreground, business suit, checks on busy chefs who can turn up almost any delicacy on a moment's notice. 28/29: Unseen voice behind public address system here is Jackie Tracy, who shares duties with six other girls, around the clock. All must speak English, spanish and French to qualify for work never 'ad lib'. The card index is her complete script, with a card for every situation, giving her exact wording to speak into microphone, and it adds up to some 950 announcements a day.[For complete information, please see original sleeve].
