Photograph article dated August 27, 1963 partially reads, "Movie director Abner Biberman's $50,000 Studio City home was destroyed early today by a fire which, for a while, threatened to engulf the surrounding hillside brush...The 56-year-old director and his family were chased from the burning house about 2:30 a.m. after Mrs. Biberman discovered the blaze in the kitchen of the home at 3515 Coldwater Canyon Ave."
