Description
Martin Gilbert discusses his book, “Churchill: A Life.” Gilbert talks about Winston Churchill’s election to parliament and Neville Chamberlain. He talks about Churchill’s social conscious and his thoughts on education. Gilbert goes on to discuss Churchill’s diplomacy during World War II, Zionism, his exclusion from the atomic bomb planning, his resilience, and his wife, Clementine. Gilbert also talks about how he began writing about Churchill.
