Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated October 31, 1955 reads, "Bob Ellithorpe, Reseda gun collector, relives Wild West days as he straps on shoulder holster once used by Wyatt Earp, famous U.S. Marshal. Earp's name, faintly scratched in holster, reportedly identifies it as genuine. Earp supposedly scratched his name into almost everything he owned.
