Description
The Valley to Vietnam series, produced by Sacramento Public Library, traces the arc of experience of Vietnam era veterans living in the Sacramento, California area. As a proud 1961 graduate of El Camino High School, Dan followed in his father's footsteps by becoming a pilot in the United States Air Force. He spent the years 1967 and 1968 in Vietnam, where he flew missions out of Bien Hoa and Phan Rang. His post-Vietnam career saw him spend time with various commercial airlines until his eventual retirement.
